Equipment

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 Sharp Knife

Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz ground pork 400 g
  • 2 rolls e.g. kaiser rolls
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp sparkling water

Instructions
 

  • Break the rolls into several pieces and soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic in a little oil until translucent, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) while shaping the patties.
  • Squeeze the excess water out of the soaked rolls and place them in a mixing bowl with the ground pork, sautéed onion and garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and sparkling water.
  • Mix everything together well with your hands. Divide the mixture into 9 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  • Place the patties on a greased baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
