Cuisine American
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 4 oz thinly sliced bacon
- Pinch salt
- Pinch black pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
If not pre-cut, slice chicken tenders into strips about 1/2 inch thick.
Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper (go easy, as bacon is salty).
Wrap each chicken strip with a slice of bacon, securing it snugly.
Arrange wrapped tenders on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through.
Serve with your favorite side or dipping sauce.
Check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
For extra crispiness, place tenders on a wire rack over the baking sheet.
