- 6 eggs
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 teaspoons cream
- 15 black olives for decoration
Preparation of Deviled Eggs:
Start with older eggs for easier peeling.
Bring water to a boil, add half a teaspoon of salt, then gently lower the eggs into the water with a spoon.
Once the eggs are in, reduce the heat to prevent them from bouncing and possibly cracking.
Cook the eggs for exactly 12 minutes using a timer.
After cooking, transfer the eggs to cold water and let them cool before peeling.
Assembling the Eggs:
Cut the eggs in half and remove the yolks.
Mash the yolks and mix with mustard, mayonnaise, cream, salt, and pepper to create the filling.
Refill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
Decorating Eggs to Look Like Spiders:
Cut one olive in half for the spider's body.
Slice another olive into thin strips to make the spider's legs.
Place half an olive on each egg as the body, and arrange the strips around it to mimic legs.
