Ingredients
  

  • 1.1 pounds ground turkey
  • ½ purple onion finely chopped
  • ½ spring onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1⅓ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 3.5 ounces Gouda cheese sliced

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Finely chop both types of onions. Slice the cheese into thick pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onions, Greek yogurt, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
  • Divide the turkey mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties. Place a slice of cheese in the center of each patty and seal the meat around it.

Choose Your Cooking Method:

  • Contact Grill: Preheat to medium-high and cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • Outdoor Grill: Preheat to medium-high and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • On the Stove: Heat a little oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • In the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through.
