Equipment

  • 1 9x13'' baking dish
  • 1 Sharp Knife
  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil plus more for the pan
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 150 g gouda cheese cubed
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 ½ cup spinach roughly chopped
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oven and Dish: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and a dash of cayenne pepper until well combined.
  • Add the Fillings: Stir in the cubed Gouda cheese, chopped onion, diced bell pepper, and roughly chopped spinach into the egg mixture until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Bake: Pour the mixture into your prepared dish, spreading it out evenly. Place in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. The quiche is done when the center is set, and the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the quiche to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This rest period helps the quiche set up and makes it easier to cut.
