- 1.25 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ⅕ teaspoon pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 2.5 oz pickles (about 4 pieces)
- 1 teaspoon Italian herb mix (oregano, basil, marjoram, thyme, etc.)
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise 90 g
- 5 oz sour cream 150 g
Prepare Chicken: Dice the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
Cook Aromatics: Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chopped onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.
Cook Chicken: Add the chicken pieces and cook, stirring occasionally, ensuring each piece is thoroughly cooked.
Blend Ingredients: Allow the chicken to cool slightly. Add pickles, mayonnaise, cream, and the herb mix. Blend everything together with an immersion blender or in a food processor until smooth.
Chill: Refrigerate the pâté until completely cooled. Serve chilled. Keep in the refrigerator and consume within three days.
