1 electric mixer
3 Mixing bowls
Base
- 7.8 ounces ladyfingers cca 1 per cup
- 2/3 cup cold milk
Chocolate Cream
- 10.5 ounces milk chocolate
- Pinch of salt
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
Orange Cream
- 5.5 ounces white chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered orange food coloring
- A few drops of orange flavor optional
- Pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
Chocolate Cream
Place milk chocolate in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, and pour over hot heavy cream. Stir until you achieve a smooth mixture.
Spoon or pour the chocolate cream over the ladyfinger layer. Adjust the amount based on the size of your cup, ensuring even distribution.
Orange Cream
Squeeze and strain an orange to remove seeds and pulp, measuring out 1/3 cup of juice. Heat the juice until it’s hot enough to melt the chocolate.
Pour the hot juice over the white chocolate sprinkled with orange coloring. Stir until smooth, reheating gently if needed.
Chill the mixture for about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
While chilling, whip the heavy cream to a soft, fluffy texture—be careful not to overmix.
Gently fold the chilled orange chocolate into the whipped cream until well combined.
Transfer the cream into a piping bag and distribute it over the chocolate layer in the cups. Optionally, garnish with a mint leaf.
