Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 3⅓ cups self-rising flour 400 g
  • 1⅔ cups Greek yogurt 400 g
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Everything bagel seasoning to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the self-rising flour, Greek yogurt, and salt to form a dough. On a floured surface, divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
  • Knead each portion briefly and shape it into a ball.
  • Flatten each ball into a burger bun shape, then sprinkle the top generously with everything bagel seasoning.
  • Cook in an air fryer at 350°F (180°C) for 13 minutes. (Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15-18 minutes, until golden.)
  • Remove the buns from the air fryer and let them rest for 10 minutes to soften. Slice and fill with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

If using all-purpose flour instead of self-rising, add 2 tsp of baking powder to the dough.
Resting the buns after cooking is key for a softer texture.
